Apple Juice Making Sep 2007
Once again we had a great trip. First we went to Kongelunden to pick apples. We got going straight away. The kids were great pickers and were sure to quality control regularly. It was harder to make them understand that we did not necessary want to keep the controlled apples!
When we had picked enough apples we headed for the Nature Centre. Here we found a good quiet spot to start the production line. The apples were cut in quarters and thrown into the grinder. When the grinder was full we started pressing the juice out. Everybody got to bring some of the lovely and sweet juice home.

Circus April 2007
Easter monday Liam, Cora, Isabella and Noah went to Circus Arena with their families. It was a great trip with loads of great acts. With both clowns, trapeze artists, elefants, horses and sea lion.
During the break Melanie had prepared fresh fruit for the kids. yumm yum
National Museum Mar 2007
Another succesful outing. The National museum was great. Liam, Cora, Karl and Noah enjoyed themselves running around to each their favorite things, they had great fun. Everyone could dress up as vikings and sail in a viking ship, there was a very cool arabian section, old school and shop, all hands-on and perfect for role playing. Cora especially liked running arond in the big hall after brunch, Noah liked the ships cabin, Karl played with the make believe fireplaced and made pizzas for us alll and Liam was a great all rounder but reaaly enjoyed following Cora around on all the steps.
For us adults there was a fantastic brunch in the cafe afterwards with all kinds of dishes. So even two breastfeeding mothers could get enough to eat!

So we are back now, and revived after a much needed snooze. The day in the pool was great. Kids there were Nicolai, Cora and Noah. Unfortunately Liam had to cancel.
There was a great variety of pool with both warm and cold water and a baby slide as well as a bigger one. The kids tended to stay in the shallow warmed pool with the small slide. But the more adventuous Cora and Nicolai had a splash or two jumping into the deeper and cooler pool.
We finished the day with big plates of chips/fries and hot chocolate.
Noah’s Birthday Dec 2006
We had Noah’s 3rd year birthday on the 2nd of December. We had loads of people over and it was a fantastic day. The kids and especially the parents were very poductive and made a BIG pile of christmas cookies. The kids enjoyed decorating the dough and of course tasting!
Noah was not much up for blowing out the candles, but luckily he got help from his friends. We say thank you very much for a lovely day and for all the brilliant presents he got.
Nature Centre Oct 2006
The first trip went to Vestamager Naturecentre on October 28th 2006. Here we visited the Nature school that Malene works for as well as the exhibition hall.
Everyone got a look at the animals, carved some pumpkins and then we went over to the exhitib and tried on some animal costumes.
As a finishing touch we had pumpkin soup with Melanie’s homemade sodabread and Zorana had made delicious apple and cinnamon muffins.
